Duke Energy Extends its Review of Proposed Transmission Line

Duke Energy has announced it has extended its review process for the Foothills Transmission Line project.  Officials with the utility say the company needs more time to consider the nine-thousand comments it has received.  More than half of the proposed 45 mile transmission line runs through Henderson County.  In September Hendersonville City Council and Henderson County Commissioners passed resolutions questioning  the path and need for the new lines.  Jason Walls is District Manager with Duke Energy.  He spoke with David Hurand.
