BPR Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions
Western North Carolina Public Radio, Inc. d/b/a Blue Ridge Public Radio (BPR) values donor, subscriber, and sponsor privacy. We hold as confidential our donor, subscriber, and sponsor information and do not sell, rent, or trade this information with any third party. This policy strictly includes that we do not sell, rent, give, or exchange a member, subscriber, donor, or sponsor name or demographic information to, with, or from any candidate for public office, committees, or organizations supporting a candidate, political party, or organization that solicit funds for use in political campaigns for any purpose.
Demographic Information
Any demographic information provided by you may be shared only in an aggregate format to help us understand our audiences and improve our services, or to generally describe the nature of our online and broadcast audiences.
Financial Information
All financial transactions take place only on secure servers, and electronic communication of financial information provided by you to conduct transactions in support of BPR is sent only in a secured or encrypted format. Credit card and banking information voluntarily provided by you is protected within encrypted systems behind advanced firewalls separate from the computers that service BPR public web sites. This information is not available to unrelated or unauthorized parties and is considered completely confidential.
