Blue Ridge Public Radio (BPR) and Brevard Music Center (BMC) are bringing a second live performance to Western North Carolina music lovers this summer.

This enthralling large-scale work is scored for double choir, full symphony orchestra, and features four soloists. One of the world's most beloved choral works, Verdi Requiem brings drama and grandeur to the concert stage with more than 200 performers, soloists, and musicians.

Keith Lockhart is Conductor of the Boston Pops and has been Artistic Director of the Brevard Music Center Summer Institute and Festival since 2007. Now in his 28th season, Keith has served as Conductor of the Boston Pops since 1995, a tenure that includes more than 2,000 performances, 45 national tours to more than 150 cities, and four international tours.
BPR and BMC partnered on the June 23 live broadcast of Carmina Burana, following on the success of Summer 2022's first live broadcast from the BMC campus in more than a decade.
