Help keep BPR’s trusted public services --BPR News and BPR Classic -- going strong in this historic year of 2020 and beyond.
BPR typically holds a car raffle with tickets at $110 each in the summer to raise more than $70,000. Given the urgency of current events, BPR is trying something different with the Summer Member Week.
BPR’s Summer Member Week recognizes the power of collective action to support local journalism and unique local businesses, and the caring, community-oriented spirit that makes Western North Carolina home. If you’ve participated in BPR’s car raffles, we hope you’ll donate this week to ensure BPR is in a strong financial position – and for the chance to win some valuable prizes.
Donate during this week of July 20, and in addition to funding BPR’s critical news and expanded services, you’ll be entered to win several prizes from Western North Carolina businesses (detailed below). Many are from BPR Business Sponsors who, like you, value their connection to Blue Ridge Public Radio.
If you make your gift on Monday, July 20, you will be eligible to win every prize during Summer Member Week. Gifts made each day during Summer Member Week will also be eligible for the following days’ prizes – so the earlier you give or enter, the more chances you have to win!Donate now to support BPR’s vital news coverage and inspiring music, all made possible by listeners and supporters like you.
