BPR presents Brevard Music Center's Summer Festival closing concert live on BPR Classic

BPR is proud to continue its tradition of broadcasting the opening and closing performances of the Brevard Music Center's Summer Festivalon BPR Classic.
This year Brevard Music Center celebrates its 90th anniversary with more than 80 concerts featuring symphony, opera, jazz and more.

Season Finale
Legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma joins the Brevard Music Center Orchestra for the season finale. Conducted by Giancarlo Guerrero, the program features Dvořák’s radiant Cello Concerto and Walton’s electrifying Belshazzar’s Feast—bringing instrumental and vocal forces on stage together in a powerful celebration of orchestral and choral grandeur.

Tracey Briggs
Tracey Briggs joined Blue Ridge Public Radio in January 2026 in a new role to help the organization boost fundraising following the loss of federal funding. She came to BPR from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, where she was director of communications and external affairs.
