U.N. Envoy, Iraqi Leaders Wrap Election Talks
A senior U.N. envoy wraps up a week of talks with Iraqi leaders with an apparent consensus on the need for elections later this year to choose members of a transitional national assembly. U.N.: Iraq Security Must Improve Before Vote
As the United States reports the death of another soldier in Iraq, the head of a visiting U.N. delegation says security must improve if the country is to hold general elections by January.
