Shelly Hawk

Shelly Hawk supports BPR’s mission, vision, and the Development team’s fundraising processes and strategies with her strong and enthusiastic interpersonal communications and her sharp attention to detail.

Customer service and communication are at the core of Shelly’s success. After working in New York City as an Account Executive producing events for Fortune 100 companies, she turned her attention to raising money and awareness for an environmental nonprofit in Central New Jersey. Working at Princeton Public Library, she managed the public service desks and was involved with all aspects of planning, hosting, and organizing programs that connected the small businesses, people, and organizations of Princeton.

Shelly’s Appalachian roots helped make Asheville her home, where she has held positions in women-owned businesses (including her own) before joining BPR in November 2022. The mountains, horses, family, and friends fill her time outside of work.
