Rachelle AndersonDirector of Development
Rachelle (pronounced “Rachel”) joined BPR in February 2023.
She is a senior executive with extensive multi-state experience in fundraising and community engagement in the non-profit sector. With a proven track record of donor cultivation, foundation/corporate relations, grant management, and strategic growth, Rachelle is a collaborative leader who inspires confidence and builds teams to achieve mission driven goals that exceed organizational expectations.
Rachelle came to BPR from the Trust for Public Land. As the Florida State Director of Philanthropy, she worked alongside communities across the state and region to create, protect, and steward the nature-rich places that are vital to human well-being.
Rachelle also served as Director of Development and Community Impact at WUCF TV and WUCF FM, Central Florida's public media station at the University of Central Florida. During her time with WUCF, Rachelle elevated station-wide strategic initiatives for philanthropy, donor relations, corporate contributions and community engagement. She has also worked in philanthropy leadership at both Idaho Public Television and PBS Utah.
Rachelle grew up in Raleigh and is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
