While many speculated that former Trump campaign adviser Paul Manafort would be among those charged in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, the announcement that former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his Russia ties took many by surprise.

Documents unsealed by the FBI show that Papadopoulos admitted he was contacted by Russian agents immediately after being tapped by Trump. So what did he know? And when? Here & Now‘s Robin Young talks with Washington Post reporter Philip Bump (@pbump).
