WCQS Listening Sessions: We want to hear your ideas!

With more than 100,000 people tuning to WCQS each week, we know how much our listeners value the station's contribution to the communities of Western North Carolina. Serving the twelve western most counties in the region, WCQS is a special place and a trusted source for music, news, the arts, ideas, and information.

In order to remain an important connector of people and ideas, WCQS must get out in the communities to understand them even better. In the coming weeks WCQS will partner with Carolina Public Press for a series of Meet Up News Exchanges around WNC. Please join the award-winning journalists with Carolina Public Press and WCQS for public meetings to discuss in-depth and investigative news across Western North Carolina — especially the people, places and issues going overlooked and under-reported –Please join us:
