Good news for fans of BPR Classic: starting Wednesday, October 30, you’ll be able to enjoy uninterrupted classical and jazz music once again.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, BPR redirected all its resources to provide urgent, life-saving news and information to as many people as possible. For BPR Classic, that meant that music programming was paused to prioritize broadcasting critical updates.
Now, with recovery efforts underway, you told us it's the right time to return to music.
Beginning this Wednesday at 12 a.m., listeners can tune back into BPR Classic to enjoy a modified version of our normal programming: classical music during the day and late-night jazz beginning at 10 p.m.
Concierto, From the Top, Jazz Night in America, Latin Perspective, Modern Notebook remain paused for the time being but will return soon.
