The next Moth StorySLAM happens Thursday, October 15 at The Mothlight at Mr. Fred's in West Asheville. Tickets go on sale Oct. 8 at 3 pm. The Moth StorySLAMs are monthly storytelling competitions where the stage is open to any and all with a story to tell on the evening's theme. This month's theme is 'Home'.
If you'd like to participate, prepare a five-minute story about HOME ... Where you your humble abode, your roots, your heritage or where your mama lives. Home is comfort, a refuge, domestic bliss! Or perhaps a dysfunctional swamp with no lifeboat in sight. Your zip code, your people, your culture, your pajamas. There is no place like home.
