Republishing our stories
BPR is an independent, nonprofit newsroom committed to creating and distributing relevant, fact-based stories in audio and digital form. We encourage the republication of our digital stories by other news organizations.
The copyright for this site and materials contained in it are owned by BPR or by third parties who grant use of their materials.
Republication of digital articles by “BPR News” is permitted on two conditions:
- Completion of this form.
AND
2. Compliance with the following policies:
- Credit BPR: Please credit BPR and our reporters. If it is a co-published story, please include bylines for our partners.
- At the top of the text, please include the following copy: “This story was originally published by BPR” and include a link to the article on our site, BPR.org.
- Do not edit any content, including the headline and description, except to reflect changes in time or location. For example, you may change “today” to “last week,” or “Brevard” to “Brevard, North Carolina.”
- Please retain all hyperlinks.
- Do not sell ads against our stories. You may republish with ads that you’ve already sold.
- If you share republished stories on social media, tag BPR.
- Stories with bylines by our other public radio partners (stations such as WUNC, WHQR, NPR, etc.) may not be republished.
