Sam Hulsey

Sam Hulsey is a business major at the University of North Carolina Asheville, originally from Dawsonville, Georgia, with experience in leadership, customer engagement, and community-focused roles. As a Division I student-athlete on the UNC Asheville Cross Country and Track team, Sam balances academic and athletic commitments while serving in leadership positions centered on student welfare, mental health advocacy, and team representation.

As a Volunteer Coordination Intern, Sam is interested in developing skills in volunteer engagement, organization, and community outreach. Drawing on experience in team leadership and direct service work, he is eager to support meaningful programs while gaining hands-on insight into nonprofit and community-based operations.
