A silver pickup truck barreled into a crowd of protesters gathered outside Asheville City Hall Tues., as city council was meeting virtually.
Video taken by a protestor shows a man driving a Chevy Silverado deliberately through the crowd gathered on College Street before speeding away from the scene. No injuries have been reported.
Witness Paul Schulman tells BPR before he caught the scene on video, protestors had signaled to the driver he could only make a left turn at the intersection, but as the truck approached, he turned the wheels right toward the protestors.
