Asheville’s newest annual culinary event has been pushed back an entire year.
Organizers of Chow Chow announced Thurs. they’re rescheduling the multi-day festival to September of 2021, due to uncertainties surrounding the pandemic.
The festival debuted last fall and received $100,000 from the Tourism Development Authority to expand this year.
Chow Chow’s board says in a news release that it will instead “shift its focus to support the many farmers, restaurants, chefs, artists, makers, and non-profits severely impacted by Covid-19.”
