1st 2020 Democratic Presidential Debate - Live Analysis

Wednesday is Night 1 of the first primary debate of the 2020 election cycle.  Democrats scheduled to appear at the Wednesday debate in Miami include Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney and Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.  The remaining Democratic candidates will hold a debate Thursday evening.  Follow NPR reporters' live analysis and fact checks of the candidates' remarks below starting at 9 p.m.

Matt Bush joined Blue Ridge Public Radio as news director in August 2016.
