WNC Early Voting Guide: Find Your Polling Place

Lilly Knoepp
It's time for early voting! Find your polling location in the mountains.

This summer, the North Carolina Legislature voted to make early voting hours uniform from 7am to 7pm. However, county budgets had already been finalized so many election boards weren’t able to pay for extended weekday hours which resulted in some locations closing.

Here in Western North Carolina, many counties have just one polling location open on weekdays from 7am to 7pm during the early voting period of October 17th through November 3rd. Many locations are closed over the weekends.
