Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will campaign Thursday at a historically black university in Charlotte.

The campaign said Clinton will speak at noon at a voter registration event at Johnson C. Smith University. Clinton will also hold a private fundraiser in the city that day.

It will be a busy week for politics in North Carolina.

Republican nominee Donald Trump is holding a rally Tuesday evening at the Greenville Convention Center to discuss immigration.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine will deliver a national security address in Wilmington on Tuesday, while former President Bill Clinton is speaking Tuesday in Durham.
