Living Wage Advocates Suffer Set Back

The sweeping regulatory reform act of 2013 passed by the North Carolina General and signed into law by Governor Pat McCrory includes a provision that prohibits local government from requiring private contractors to pay a living wage or require paid sick days.   Vickie Meath  is Executive Director of Just Economics, a group that advocates for a living wage.  She spoke with David Hurand.
