August 21 | Downtown After Five, Asheville

BPR brings the community spirit to Downtown After Five in August.

Downtown After Five provides free live outdoor music concerts in downtown Asheville from 5-9 pm every third Friday from April to August. Thousands gather in Pack Square Park to enjoy the music, local and national beers, and food and craft vendors.

BPR will be there for August’s New Orleans Night, headlined by J & The Causeways, with opening act Bayou Diesel and a special appearance from the Asheville Second Line. BPR have a table in the heart of the action. Whether you’re a longtime listener or discovering public radio for the first time, stop by to meet staff or volunteers, learn more about our work across Western North Carolina, and pick up some BPR goodies.
