Now that the newly elected officials that you voted for are taking office, do you know how to contact them?

The 118th Congress is scheduled to be sworn in this week pending the current delay over the majority speaker of the House.

There are some new faces from Western North Carolina.

Congressman-elect Chuck Edwards is part of the new class, representing about 15 counties in the mountain region. He will join Republican Senator Ted Budd who is filling the shoes of longtime Senator Richard Burr to represent the whole state.

In the North Carolina General Assembly, officials will start the new session on January 11.

Congress - North Carolina District 11 

Chuck Edwards - Republican Chuck Edwards now represents about 15 counties in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Constituents living in North Carolina’s 11th district who need assistance can contact the district office at (828) 435-7310. You can contact his office online here.

NC State Senate District 46

Warren Daniel – Republican Warren Daniel represents Burke, McDowell and newly represents part of Buncombe County. You can contact Daniel at Warren.Daniel@ncleg.gov.

NC State Senate District 47 

Ralph Hise – Republican Hise has had 7 terms in the Senate. Hise’s district includes Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, Yancey Counties with the addition this year of part of Haywood County. You can contact him at Ralph.Hise@ncleg.gov.
