BPR's Fall Drive: A true community effort

Thank you with vintage microphone image

Many thanks to new and longtime members from across Western North Carolina for showing your support for Blue Ridge Public Radio during our Fall Membership Drive last month. We appreciate how much you value our local, independent journalism, inspiring cultural connections, and beautiful music.

Special thanks to the BPR Leadership Circle Members who sponsored our Fall Membership Drive’s two Member Matches: Rick and Elizabeth Devereaux, Francee and Richard Healy, John and Marjorie Hickman, Mary Ann Kiefer and David Erwin, and Scott and Pamela Marks. Their generosity doubled the impact of community support for BPR’s service to our region.

BPR’s Fall Membership Drive ended on Wednesday, September 28, but it fell short of the goal by $35,000.

Community support makes up 90 percent of BPR’s revenue. Listener contributions ensure that the trusted news reporting, calming music, entertaining programs, and all that you value about BPR can continue for you and all listeners across Western North Carolina.

If you missed the opportunity to donate during the Fall drive, there are several ways to show your support for BPR News and BPR Classic.

Have a question about how you can support BPR? Please contact the BPR Development team at membership@bpr.org, and from all of us here at BPR, thank you!

Erin Adams served as BPR's first Director of Audience from August 2023 to March 2024.
