BPR’s Fall Membership Drive: Steady & Strong With Your Support

In a year like 2020, Blue Ridge Public Radio offers strength and stability during these intensely changing and chaotic times.

BPR’s reliable local, national, and global news coverage and cultural content helps Western North Carolina listeners better understand one another and the world. For BPR to continue the meet this moment with dedicated expertise and integrity, our trusted public service counts on listener support.

The BPR Fall Membership Drive is happening now, and we’re asking for every listener to help us end the fiscal year on solid ground. While free to listen, BPR News and BPR Classic require significant financial resources, like the $500,000 BPR pays each fiscal year for programming like Morning Edition, Marketplace and Wait, Wait... Don’t Tell Me! The forecast is uncertain for what’s ahead, yet Member support guarantees that BPR stays a daily lifeline for listeners like you.

Help BPR meet our goal of $250,000 by September 30 - be a part of this essential service with your tax-deductible donation.

There are added benefits to your BPR Membership. Give $120 or more for the BPR MemberCard, which gets you 2-for-1 discounts at both regional and statewide restaurants and attractions. For donating $180 or more, receive an honorary day sponsorship – an on-air message to mark your personal celebration, or to share with a local nonprofit to spread the word about their work.

Because of listener support, BPR will steadily stay the course in 2020 and beyond to bring you the news, music, and information you need the most. Thank you if you have already given this year – we hope you will make an additional donation to help keep Blue Ridge Public Radio strong for all listeners in our region.
