2018 Ticket To Ride Raffle Drawing Details
Thanks to everyone who entered Blue Ridge Public Radio's 2018 Ticket To Ride Summer Raffle! It was a near sell-out with 985 tickets sold. The winner will be selected at random and announced on the air on August 15, 2018 during All Things Considered between 5:30 and 5:35.
Host Helen Chickering will be joined by News Director Matt Bush and Membership Associate Abby Bishop. The winner will be drawn at random and announced live on the air. (Note - you do not have to be listening at the time of the announcement to win.) We'll call the winner immediately following the announcement.
The winner* will select the car of their choice among two models as specified in prize information below; no cash remuneration will be made for choosing the model of lesser price. There is no cash payout option for this raffle.
PRIZE SELECTION: The winner of the Blue Ridge Public Radio Ticket to Ride Summer Raffle will choose one of the following vehicles:
2018 VW Tiguan SE 4Motion all-wheel drive w/Active Control 8-speed Automatic w/Tiptronci 2.0L TSI, 184HP, with Panoramic Sunroof Package, 3rd Row Seat Package (split fold-flat, 2 passenger 3rd row bench seat with armrest) 18" Alloy Wheel Package, and Front Fog Lights Package. Prize valued at $28,950.
2018 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI six-speed S-tronic automatic transmission with quattro all-wheel drive system, leather seating surfaces, panoramic sunroof, eight-way power driver's seat including four-way power lumbar adjustment, automatic xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights, and dual-zone climate control, and heated seats. Prize is valued at $36,900.
Winner will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email. If potential winner(s) cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and alternate winner(s) will be selected by random drawing.
