The first of two Says You! episodes recorded in Asheville will air this Sunday on BPR Classic. Says You! was in town June 14th at Diana Wortham Theatre. Our own Helen Chickering and Asheville Citizen-Times 'Answer Man' John Boyle joined regular panelist Barry Nolan, Murray Horwitz, Francine Achbar, and Carolyn Faye Fox for the public radio game show of bluff and bluster and word and whimsy.
Adding to the fun, guest host Dave Zobel charmed the audience with his word nerd ways, while Asheville's Free Planet Radio wowed them with their unique genre blending world-jazz-classical style.
Two episodes of the program were recorded before a sold-out audience. The performance benefitted Says You! and Blue Ridge Public Radio.
