Thanks to everyone who has already contributed to our year-end giving campaign! Our 1-Day pledge drive and year-end giving kickoff on December 8 was a wonderful success. We are happy to report that listeners from throughout the region rallied their support for WCQS to meet $10,000 HomeTrust Challenge for Homeward Bound.
HomeTrust Bankmade the matching grant in honor of Bob Shepherd, who is retiring from the HomeTrust Bank Board of Directors after 27 years of service. The grant will help fund the expansion of Homeward Bound's AHOPE Center. WCQS was honored to partner with both organizations to make a difference in our community.
WCQS is on its way to meeting it year-end campaign goal of $80,000 by December 31st. All year long you counted on WCQS for daily companionship, spell-binding stories, transformative music, and information that connects you to the world and to your community. As you take time at this time of year to give to the organizations that support you, we hope you'll consider a gift to WCQS. All gifts made by December 31st are eligible for a 2015 tax deduction.
