Lex 18 to Host Downton Abbey Supper Club: Benefits WCQS!

Fans of Downton Abbey take note! Lex 18 is hosting an intimate interactive banquet dinner experience followed by the live broadcast of Downton Abbey on Sundays beginning January 4, 2015 thru March 1, 2015.  A portion of each evening's proceeds will benefit WCQS.

Lex 18's historic 1920's dining room will be transformed into the Lord and Lady Grantham's dining room.    Centered under its gold ceiling, a 16-foot long banquet table will be lavishly dressed with china and crystal.  ‘Footmen’ in tails and head butler will serve guests a five-course wine and champagne dinner tableside.  The extravagant banquet is made all the more fabulous by an interactive cast personifying Downton Abbey’s Crawley family members and their lively and gossipy servants.

Each Sunday’s private ticketed event is limited to 18 exclusive guests. The all-inclusive vintage dinner experience includes: a cocktail hour, five course dinner, interactive experience with cast of characters fashioned after the Crawley family and Downton Abbey servants, live broadcast of Downtown Abbey Season 5 episode, intermission during broadcast for post dinner digestifs and coffee and tea service. The evenings will also include period music and a glimpse of what was going on in Asheville at that period in time.

For all the delicious details and to purchase tickets go to Lex 18 - Appalachian Fine Dining Supper Club and Moonshine Bar.

You can also take a chance at winning VIP tickets to one of the vintage banquet viewing parties by making a year-end donation to WCQS

Our thanks to Lex 18 for graciously hosting these wonderful dinners and partnering with WCQS.
