WCQS classical music host Chip Kaufmann celebrates his 30th year with the station November 21st.
Throughout Chip’s years with WCQS he has introduced thousands of listeners to classical music – some of the music is centuries old, some contemporary – all presented with the same passion, respect and enthusiasm. His dedication, his intelligence and his willingness to do anything to further the mission of public radio (he has subbed in a pinch on a bluegrass program and helped hang drywall for our studios) have made him invaluable to WCQS - that and his wicked wit, kind nature, encyclopedic knowledge of film and his sincere appreciation of beer and boiled peanuts .
Bravo Chip – from your colleagues at WCQS and thousands upon thousands of listeners.
Please feel free to write your congratulations to Chip.
