WCQS Pays Tribute to Mountain Xpress Film Critic Ken Hanke

Mountain Xpress film critic Ken Hanke passed away this week at the age of 61. WCQS classical music host (and fellow film critic) Chip Kaufmann will pay tribute to Hanke this morning from 11 to 12.

Anyone who knew Hanke knew of his love for British filmmaker Ken Russell, so it's only fitting to remember him today by playing some of the music from Russell's movies, including Tasso: Lament & Triumph by Franz Liszt, The Walk to Paradise Garden by Frederick Delius, Blumine Movement from Symphony #1 by Gustav Mahler and the 4th Movement from Symphony #6 by Tchaikovsky.

Rest in peace, Ken.
