Tony Kiss
Asheville Citizen-Times

Tony reports there's lots of great music to consider.  High on his list, The Moody Blue.  The band will  visit Harrah's Cherokee Event Center Saturday (3/19) night. John Lodge, Justin Hayward, and Graeme Edge have been recording and performing since the early 1960s.  In 1967 the band released the LP Days of Future Time Passed. The group has sold more than 70 million albums. Country Music star Travis Tritt plays a solo acoustic gig at Diana Wortham Theater in Asheville Sunday night. New comer,  Country music performer and Asheville native Joe Lasher Jr. takes the state at the Orange Peel Friday night (3/18). For a night of Jazz consider Annie and the Hot Club Friday (3/18) at Isis Restaurant and Music Hall.

An all female cast performs "Glengarry Glen Ross" at the BeBe Theater.  The play finishes its run of the David Mamet play Saturday night (3/19) and James and The Giant Peach will be performed at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown through Sunday (3/20).  Tony takes a look at some of what's  happening in Western North Carolina.
