The Fourth of July Independence Day Holiday weekend has arrived. If  the weather cooperates there will be plenty of fireworks and outdoor festivals to enjoy.  ToppingTony's list of at least 40 ways to celebrate the 4th,  the Red White and Blue Grass Festival July 3-4 at Catawba Meadows in Morganton. The Graham County Heritage Festival takes place  on Courthouse Square in Robbinsville and Franklin's All American 4th of July gets underway with Mac Arnold and Plate Full O'Blues at the gazebo  on the square July 3rd at 7:30 and continues July 4th. The Fonatna Village July 4th Festival runs July 3-5 and Freedom Fest in Bryson kicks off July 4th at 10 am.  That's just some of the July 4th celebrations taking place across WNC. There are a couple of new arrivals at area movie theaters; Magic Mike XXL The Overnight, a comedy starring Taylor Schilling of "Orange is the New Black" and Terminator Genisys.  Have fun!
