Dinosaurs have taken over the big screen! Jurassic World and its 3D special effects has arrived at area theaters. The film is the fourth in the Jurassic series. The story of the Beach Boys, Love and Mercy has also arrived. The film stars John Cusack and Elizabeth Banks and there are several animated films appropriate for children. The Indigo Girls, with their band, will rock the Orange Peel June 23rd, and Nigerian legend Kinny Sunny Ade makes his way to Western North Carolina with an appearance at New Mountain Amphitheater, June 24th. Unfortunately officials with New Mountain are now reporting the performance maybe canceled because of visa problems. There are also several festivals and live theater offerings to consider.
