BPR is pleased to share the schedule for upcoming broadcasts of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra's Masterworks series on BPR Classic.

The remainder of the season includes two concerts: Masterworks 5 and Masterworks 6.

Find your BPR Classic frequency and see the full schedule below.

Masterworks 5: Nightingale

Internationally acclaimed vocalist Isabel Leonard — winner of multiple GRAMMY Awards — brings her versatile artistry and raw star power to this flagship event of the 2026 Artist Residency. She will showcase the many glittering facets of the human voice, bringing to life a curated selection of her signature roles and iconic works for voice: Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915, highlights from West Side Story, plus works by Georges Bizet, Manuel de Falla, and more.

Listen on BPR Classic: April 14 at 7 p.m. and April 16 at 9 a.m.

Masterworks 6: Requiem

Two deeply personal masterpieces reveal glimpses of the soul: Mozart’s haunting self-eulogy pairs with Tchaikovsky’s luminous serenade, composed from “deep within” as both a tribute to Mozart, his greatest inspiration, and as a purely radiant expression of the heart.

Listen on BPR Classic: May 12 at 7 p.m. and May 14 at 9 a.m.

Stephanie Rogers is the Audience Communications Manager for BPR's Audience team.
