Early voting for the midterms doesn’t kick-off until October in North Carolina. But in Western North Carolina, voting is now open for Buncombe County Election Services’ inaugural “I Voted” sticker design contest.

“We rolled out a custom Buncombe County branded sticker for the primary election and so many people loved it,” says Election Services Director Corinne Duncan. “We’re so excited to feature the art from one of our future voters on the next sticker!”

Voters of all ages can choose from a palette ballot of four designs by local young artists. The last day to vote is September 25. A winner will be announced on September 27. Stickers will be distributed during the November General Election to all voters in Buncombe County.
