For the first time in its 34-year history, USA Today picked a side in the presidential election, calling Donald Trump “unfit for the presidency“and telling voters to vote for anyone but Trump.
This year a number of conservative newspaper editorial boards, including Arizona Republic, Dallas Morning News and Cincinnati Enquirer, have gone against their traditions and endorsed the democratic candidate for president — Hillary Clinton. Others like the Chicago Tribune and Detroit News have endorsed a third-party candidate.
