The Radio Television Digital News Association awarded four regional 2025 Edward R. Murrow wins to Blue Ridge Public Radio.

The awards are among the most prestigious in broadcast and digital news. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of broadcast and digital journalism.

"It is especially meaningful for the team to be recognized for their hard work in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene," BPR News Director Laura Lee said. "We are honored to receive these awards, particularly the Overall Excellence for our division."

As a regional winner, BPR will automatically advance to the National Murrow Awards competition.
