US Airways/American and the Future of Charlotte Hub

The apparent reversal by the U.S. Justice Department to approve the merger of American and US Airways includes a commitment to keep one of the new airline Hubs in Charlotte. The agreement, if finalized, will create the the largest airline in the world.  David Hurand spoke with Brookings Institution Senior Research Associate and Associate Fellow, Adie Tomer about the merger and what it may meqan for smaller regional airports, including Asheville Regional Airport.
