WCQS Holiday Pet Food Drive

Greta Johnsen

In addition to doing your part for WCQS during our year-end membership drive, can also help our less fortunate four legged friends. WCQS is collecting pet food for homeless animals this holiday season.  Help make the holidays brighter for less fortunate cats and dogs by dropping by the station with canned or dry food. WCQS will distribute the food among area animal welfare organizations including Asheville Humane Society and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.

Food is one of the largest operating expenses for area shelters and animal rescue organizations. Just as every donation to WCQS makes a difference, so does every can of food or bag of kibbles. Let’s all work together now for another meaningful year of public radio and a brighter future for pets awaiting their furever home.

The next time you’re at the store, picking up food for your own four legged friend, pick up an extra bag or can of food and drop it off at WCQS. We’re located at 73 Broadway in downtown Asheville

We’d love to see you.
